Haryana News: A major road accident took place late Thursday night in Gohana area of Sonepat, Haryana. In this accident, 3 kanwariyas were killed and 7 were injured. The accident took place near Chidana village on the Panipat-Rohtak highway, where a speeding truck hit the Kanwaris from behind, as soon as the incident was reported, the Mundlana outpost police reached the spot, the injured were admitted to the Medical College Khanpur and The dead bodies were sent for postmortem.
The deceased were residents of Mahendragarh district
The deceased have been identified as Sajjan (33), Praveen (37) and Kapil (27) residents of village Surehti, district Mahendragarh. At the same time, Dinesh, Surendra, Vikas were seriously injured in this accident, who were referred to Rohtak PGI after first aid. Apart from this, the injured Ravindra, Udham, Nitesh, Amit are being treated at BPS Khanpur Medical. The Mundlana Chowki police is busy investigating the matter.
Kanwariyas were returning from Haridwar to the village
All these residents of village Suherti Pilania, who were victims of the accident, were returning to their village after taking Gangajal from Haridwar in Dak Kanwad. That’s why an accident happened near Chidana village. Three kanwariyas died on the spot due to the collision of the vehicle and falling of the generator.
4 kanwariyas died in Delhi too
Kanwariyas also became victims of accidents in Delhi. Four Kanwariyas died in a head-on collision between two trucks near Siraspur in Delhi. There were 25 Kanwariyas in a truck. The accident was so painful that 4 Kanwariyas died on the spot. About 14 people are said to be injured in the accident. The truck carrying kanwariyas was going to Haridwar from near Nangloi. Meanwhile, a truck going towards Delhi on GT Karnal road hit the truck of Kanwariyas.
