The current rainy season is not proving to be good for India. Many states of the country are receiving heavy rains this year in an unexpected manner. From the capital Delhi to Haryana and Himachal Pradesh are facing devastation. Due to this, there has been a lot of loss of life and property and the economy has suffered a loss of thousands of crores of rupees.

The name of Himachal Pradesh is also included in the states which have suffered the most in this year’s rains. There has been a lot of devastation due to rain in many places in the state. Due to heavy rains, many rivers have taken a fierce form. Dams, bridges, hundreds of houses, markets and vehicles have become victims of this water. If Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is to be believed, the state has suffered a loss of about Rs 8000 crore due to heavy rains since last few weeks.

This estimate of the government

Earlier on Friday, the Himachal government had told about the loss of about Rs 4000 crore. In a report by news agency ANI, quoting the revenue department of the state government, it was told that the state has suffered a loss of Rs 3,738.28 crore due to floods and rains. Pictures and videos of the devastation in the state are also going viral on social media.

The danger is not over yet

Different estimates are telling that Himachal Pradesh has suffered the most due to natural devastation this season. It is a matter of sadness that this trend of weather and danger has not even been averted. The Meteorological Department says that heavy rains are expected in Himachal Pradesh for the next few days. According to the department, there is a possibility of heavy rains in the state till July 18.

Central government sent help

Meanwhile, the Central Government has released the second installment in advance in the State Disaster Response Fund. Under this, Rs 180.40 crore has been released by the Central Government. The central government has already given an installment of Rs 180.40 crore. The first installment was released on 10 July. Eleven teams of NDRF have been deployed for relief and rescue operations in the state.
