Dinesh Gope News: The supremo of the banned Naxalite organization PLFI (People’s Liberation Front of India) Dinesh Gop Hotwar is lodged in jail. Where did Dinesh invest the levy money, the ED is constantly asking him for a denial about this. Now the ED team has got permission to interrogate his two wives Heera Devi and Shakuntala Kumari.
According to ED sources, earlier during the interrogation earlier this month, Gop had given the account of some amount received in levy-extortion to the agency. However, in response to most of the questions, he kept saying that he did not remember anything. In such a situation, now the ED will interrogate their wives.
NIA had arrested both the wives
During this, the ED team will inquire about Gop’s illegal investment of crores. The Ranchi-based PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering) court has allowed two days’ interrogation of their wives. The special team of NIA arrested both the wives of Dinesh Gope from Kolkata on 30 January 2022, about a year ago. Lakhs of rupees were recovered from them.

Since then both are lodged in Birsa Munda Central Jail of Ranchi. Dinesh, who was most wanted for two decades, was arrested by the NIA from Nepal on May 21. 102 cases have been registered against Dinesh Gop in Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha and he has made illegal extortion of crores by spreading terror. The ED team has interrogated Dinesh for several days in the jail in the beginning of this month.
Investment of crores through wives
So far, information about investment of crores in more than two dozen banks has also been received through Dinesh Gop’s family members and both the wives. The NIA had seized Rs 19.93 lakh from the bank accounts of Gop’s wives. In the investigation, it was found that a transaction of Rs 2.50 crore had taken place in more than two dozen bank accounts. These accounts were in the names of shell companies and Gop’s family members.
