According to the Ministry of Interior and Security, as of 11 am on Saturday (10 am Singapore time), 1,567 people had been evacuated from across the country to safer places. According to reports, water has risen above the dam in North Chungcheong province, making it difficult for relief and rescue operations. According to the report of the ministry, due to the rains, about 1,570 people had to vacate their houses in the last three days. Along with this, there is no electricity in thousands of houses.

In view of the deteriorating situation due to rains and floods, the government has directed to stop the operation of some trains and bullet trains. Please tell that due to torrential rains, the track has been flooded, as well as the danger has increased due to landslides at various places.

According to reports, a slow-moving train derailed after mud and sand had accumulated on the tracks due to a landslide in North Chungcheong province late on Friday night. In view of the current situation, in a meeting with government agencies on Saturday, South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo has given instructions to speed up relief and rescue operations.
