Pakistan-Afghanistan Relations: Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif claimed on Saturday (July 15) that the terrorists involved in bloodshed in his country are getting shelter in Afghanistan.
He said that Pakistan will no longer tolerate this. Asif said, “Afghanistan is not performing its duty as a neighboring country and is not following the Doha Agreement. Fifty to six lakh Afghans have got shelter in Pakistan for 40 to 50 years with all rights.

There has been anger in Pakistan since 12 soldiers were killed in two terrorist incidents on July 13 in Balochistan. A group of Pakistani Taliban terrorists has claimed responsibility for the attack. Pakistani Defense Minister had also tweeted expressing anger against Afghanistan.
Pak Army Chief Asim Munir visits Quetta Garrison
Earlier, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir visited Quetta Garrison and inquired about the health of soldiers injured in Zhob terror attack. Officials said that TTP hideouts are present in Afghanistan and hoped that the Afghan government would not allow its land to be used against other countries.
A spokesman for the army’s media wing urged the Afghan interim administration to ensure the implementation of the Doha Agreement. The armed forces also expressed concern over the involvement of Afghan civilians in terrorist attacks in Pakistan.
