CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan suddenly called a meeting of police officers at CM House today. In this meeting, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has instructed the police officers to run a comprehensive campaign to save people from cybercrime. The CM said that the strictest action will be taken against the criminals giving the allurement of online loans.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan convened a special meeting of senior police officers at Samatva Bhawan Chief Minister’s residence and gave instructions regarding the suicide of a family who had availed online loan in the capital. Chief Minister Chouhan said that in view of this unfortunate incident, there is a need for strict control over cyber criminals. Families cannot be seen being ruined like this.
Such incidents should be stopped by using technology and the culprits should be punished. A comprehensive campaign should also be launched to prevent people from cybercrime. Director General of Police Sudhir Kumar Saxena, Police Commissioner Bhopal Harinarayan Chari Mishra, Additional Chief Secretary Home Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, ADG Adarsh Katiyar and other officers were present in this meeting.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that necessary public awareness is needed so that such incidents do not happen. For this, a separate action plan should be prepared and implemented. The people who offer to provide online loans to the public should be monitored, the app through which these crimes are committed, those who operate them should be caught.

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that if the local people are not involved in these and such illegal activities are being conducted from other places of the country or abroad, then teams should also be sent to reach them. Every person should be aware against the people who cheat people by giving them the greed of giving them money. A comprehensive campaign should also be conducted by the police in this regard. Chief Minister Chouhan said that prompt action should be taken on the complaints received before the person trapped in the vicious cycle of debt commits suicide.
90 apps banned
In the meeting, police officers told CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan that the Government of India has banned about 90 apps. Sachet portal is also working. Many apps are not authorized by the Reserve Bank, which work to provide loans to people. The incident that took place in Bhopal is being seriously discussed.
