AIMPLB Leaders Meet Akhilesh Yadav: A delegation of 4 members of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board met Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav regarding the Uniform Civil Court (UCC). During this, many people including Maulana Khalid Rashid Farangi Mahali, Maulana Atiq Ahmed, Mohammad Suleman, Aamna Rizwan were present. These leaders demanded Akhilesh Yadav to raise the voice of the campaign against the UCC being run across the country by AIMPLB.

During this Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahali told that today the delegation of All India Muslim Personal Law Board met Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow in connection with Uniform Civil Court. A memorandum was presented on behalf of the board and it was said that why we are opposing the Uniform Civil Court and to what extent every citizen has more freedom and freedom in every country, there is every question to put a question mark on it. Possible danger. The board members said that we strongly condemn this intention of the government and collectively cancel the Uniform Civil Code. Imposing Uniform Civil Code on any section of the country without its consent is actually a malicious attempt to erase its identity.

On the other hand, Akhilesh Yadav has expressed his belief that his party is fundamentally against the UCC and he also wants that every citizen and every religion should be free in every country. A delegation of All India Muslim Personal Law Board has submitted a memorandum demanding its repeal, strongly opposing the BJP government’s efforts to bring Uniform Civil Code. On the other hand, Akhilesh Yadav while accepting the memorandum of All India Muslim Personal Law Board assured him of his support.
