Amazing: The woman had to go to the police station for 5 tomatoes, then resigned for Rs 700

But it seems that this is going to come true now, security guards will have to be set up for the security of tomatoes because now tomatoes have started getting stolen. One such case of tomato theft has come to the fore. In Delhi’s Najafgarh area, where a woman stole 4-5 tomatoes from a vegetable shop, the police took that woman into custody.

Theft revealed by CCTV

Actually, the whole matter is of a vegetable market in Najafgarh where a woman stole 4 to 5 tomatoes from the vegetable seller. After which Manoj of the vegetable seller called on Dial-100 and informed the police. Havildar Suraj from Najafgarh police station reached the spot and he checked the CCTV footage. After the theft was revealed by the woman, the police took the accused woman into custody.

Accused of stealing 5 kg tomatoes

Vegetable seller Manoj lodged a complaint of theft of about five kilos of tomatoes in the police station. This complaint was lodged at Baba Haridas Nagar police station in Dwarka district. Manoj told that he runs a vegetable shop in Dhansa village. The cost of the tomatoes stolen from his side was told to be around Rs 1,000. Because on that day tomatoes were being sold in Delhi for Rs.200 forts. Then there was a dispute between the woman and the vegetable seller for several hours. The police officers explained to the woman and said that legal action would be taken. In the end, 700 rupees were given to the vegetable seller on behalf of the woman, after which a written agreement was made in both the parties and sent home.
