The young man loved a Hindu girl despite being married and had informed the District Magistrate about converting to marry. After the information, the police administration became alert. In the investigation of the case, the angle of husband, wife and she came to the fore. The wife appealed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for justice.
Dream of marriage with Hindu girlfriend shattered
Now the young man who went from Muslim to Hindu neither got a girlfriend nor a wife. On the contrary, one has to go to jail. The matter pertains to Mughalpura police station area of Moradabad. Amir Ali, a resident of Mughalpura police station area, gave an affidavit to District Magistrate Shailendra Kumar Singh. In the affidavit, he told that despite being a Muslim, he has started believing in Hinduism and wants to change his name from Aamir Ali to Amit Maheshwari after conversion. He told that there is a desire to convert without any pressure.
After receiving the affidavit, the administration became alert and ordered the police to investigate. On reaching home, the police found Amir Ali absconding. Police put security at Aamir Ali’s door. In the investigation, it was found that the young man is already married and is also the father of a daughter. Aamir Ali’s wife Gul Afsha told the police that both were married in February 2022. According to the wife, the husband is having a love affair with a girl named Shubhangi Maheshwari from Aligarh since 2014.
Police arrested and sent to lockup
The husband has fled leaving his wife and daughter by pretending to convert to marry his girlfriend. Aamir Ali’s wife appealed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for justice. On the complaint of Gul Afsha, the police registered a case against Aamir Ali and 7 family members in Mughalpura police station under sections like dowry harassment, forgery, assault. After the case was registered, the police arrested Amir Ali and produced him in the court. Aamir Ali reached the lock-up after appearing in the court.
Gul Afsha told that Aamir Ali can never adopt Hinduism. Being a staunch Muslim, he does not even eat from any Hindu shop. According to Gul Afsha, Aamir Ali is doing a drama of conversion. His intention is to marry Shubhangi Maheshwari, a Hindu girlfriend living in Aligarh, to get rid of the allegations of love jihad and his wife. Gul Afsha took the three-month-old daughter in her arms to the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath pleaded for justice.
Religion conversion was taking support of law
He demanded legal action against Amir Ali alias Amit Maheshwari, who destroyed the house by resorting to the conversion law. Gul Afsha appeals that in order to establish a house for one daughter, will the Chief Minister destroy the house of another daughter? On the complaint of Gul Afsha, the police registered a case and traced Aamir. SP City Akhilesh Bhadoria told that a young man named Aamir of Mughalpura police station area had given an application for religious conversion.
After thorough investigation of the matter, it was found that the applicant is already married. He is also in contact with another girl. That’s why wanted to marry another girl by changing religion in an inappropriate way. The wife had filed a case in the Mughalpura police station. Cheating, dowry harassment and other sections have been imposed. Amir Ali has been arrested and sent to jail. Further legal action is on.
