Bajwa wrote in a tweet that the risk of waterborne diseases like cholera, typhoid, dengue and hepatitis increases in flood-affected areas. I caution Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh. Pay serious attention to this and start organizing medical camps. The AAP government should be prepared in advance to deal with the emerging situations.

Bajwa raised questions on the government

Earlier, Congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa had targeted the Punjab government regarding the floods in Punjab. He wrote by tweeting that this is due to sheer negligence. The AAP government says that the flood has wreaked havoc in almost half of the state. Rs 729 crore is available with the AAP government for disaster management. Rs 488 crore has also been received from the central government. Still, the advance preparation for natural disaster failed. 10 crore released for drinking water

Let us tell you that due to floods in Punjab, the problem of drinking water can also arise. In view of this, Water Supply and Sanitation Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa has made a big announcement. He has released an amount of Rs 10 crore for the repair of drinking water supply in the flood-affected areas. It has been said on behalf of Minister Zimpa that the government is already arranging water for the flood victims through alternative arrangements. In such a situation, now the government has released funds for the repair of pipes, motors or tubewells damaged due to floods.
