Virat Kohli to play 500th international match in second test against West Indies


Virat Kohli’s 500th International Match: Indian batsman Virat Kohli has so far played 499 matches in his international career. Through the second Test match played against the West Indies, he will take the field for his 500th international match. Till now Kohli’s international career has been very spectacular. He is the second batsman to score maximum centuries in international cricket.

The second Test match between India and West Indies will be played from 20 July at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad. In the first match played against West Indies, Kohli appeared in excellent rhythm. He scored 76 runs in 182 balls with the help of 5 fours while playing a durable innings. Kohli has scored a century in all three formats. He has scored 75 international centuries so far. Apart from this, he has scored 131 half-centuries. His career high score is 245 not out.

Virat Kohli will be the 10th player to play 500 matches in international career. So far, the record of playing the most international matches is in the name of former Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar. He has played 664 international matches in his career.
