Noor Muhammad said that Seema and her first husband Ghulam Haider had eloped to Karachi and got married 10 years ago against the wishes of their parents. We saw her leaving with her children and some bags one day after calling a taxi and we thought she was going to her village in Jacobabad, but after about a month, when we heard about her escape on TV channels So we all were surprised. In rural Sindh, a high-profile religious leader, Miyan Mithu, has openly threatened to punish Seema if she returns.
