Jharkhand News: Jharkhand’s Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam has spoken on the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code. He said that the proposal being brought to implement Uniform Civil Code in the country is an election gimmick of the ruling BJP at the Centre. Which will prove to be three leaves of cover in the coming times. Parliamentary Affairs and Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam had reached Sahibganj today to review various schemes, said these things while talking to journalists in the Council.
Alamgir Alam’s attack on UCC
Alamgir Alam said that when elections come, BJP brings such new things in front of the public. He said that it would be too early to say anything on this issue until the complete draft comes. He said that India is a secular state. There is a glimpse of unity in diversity here. In such a situation, before saying too much on this so soon or giving importance to it, we should wait that such a decision comes in the Parliament on this proposal.
Alamgir Alam said on the development of Sahibganj
Alamgir Alam also spoke about the development of Sahibganj. He said that since Barharwa has been declared as Nagar Panchayat. The term of its representatives has been completed, and now many problems have come to the fore in Barharwa Nagar Panchayat area. They have reached there to solve it, so that by talking to the officials of the concerned departments here, those problems can be solved. He said that there are many problems in Barharwa Nagar Panchayat areas. For example, Karna ground bridge has been built for railway crossing, where water seeping through a drain is creating a problem for the bridge. How to remove the water from the said drain has to be considered. He further said that the bypass was built in Barharwa but that light was not arranged, due to which there used to be a dark situation there, but now it has come to know that yesterday the light has been installed there. The number of buses, autos and totos have increased a lot in Barharwa. In such a situation, there is also a need for an organized stand for it. Regarding the solution of all these problems, today he will discuss with the office bearers here.
A network of rural roads will be laid in the state
Alamgir Alam further said that a network of rural roads will be laid in the entire state. For this, the process of tender has been completed for re-construction of roads which are more than 10 years old. The process of tender is being done to re-build the roads which are completed in 7 to 9 years and efforts are being made to include the roads above 5 years in the process of tender.
