Jharkhand Crime News: DSP Neeraj Kumar, who went to arrest the criminal of Aman Sahu gang lodged in Jharkhand’s Ramgarh Jail, was shot dead by the criminals. The incident took place on Monday (July 17) night at Terpa in Patratu police station area of Ramgarh district.
According to the information, the team under the leadership of ATS DSP Neeraj Kumar had gone to arrest the shooter belonging to Aman Sahu gang. ATS DSP Neeraj Kumar and a jawan were shot in an encounter with the Aman Sahu gang at Terpa in Patratu police station area. Both were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

DSP Neeraj Kumar has been shot in the stomach, while the news of Sonu Sau being shot in the thigh has come to the fore. Both were admitted to Medica. The treatment of both is going on. Actually, the criminals started firing indiscriminately on seeing the ATS team.
Shooters were feared to be in Patratu
ATS suspected some shooters of Aman Sahu gang to be in Patratu. The police was showing the last location of this place. In the search operation of these people, a team of ATS under the leadership of Neeraj Kumar had reached Patratu.
Search operation continues in the area
As soon as the DSP got the information about the shooting, the police of many police stations reached the spot. Police is engaged in further action. Search operation is being conducted in the entire area. Aman Sahu is currently lodged in Dumka jail.
Earlier, there were reports of threats from Aman’s side to coal traders. The businessmen said that if this continues, they will have to go to work in another city.
