Talking about the batting of Yashasvi Jaiswal after this match, Indian team’s batting coach Vikram Rathor said that he will prove to be a very good player in all three formats. The batting coach said that before lunch on the second day, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored around 20 runs in 90 balls. This was the biggest highlight of his innings for me.

Yashasvi Jaiswal made many new records along with playing a century in his debut match. During this, he became the third player to score the most runs while debuting in Test cricket for India.
