Chirag Paswan put a condition before NDA meeting, gave 6-1 formula for seat sharing

Chirag Paswan Formula For Alliance: After leaving with Nitish Kumar, BJP is looking for a partner in Bihar. BJP knows that going alone in 2024 can be dangerous and it is not right to take this risk in the general elections of the country. This is the reason why BJP also sent an invitation to old friend Chirag Paswan for the meeting to be held in Delhi on July 18, but till now Chirag has not given any answer. Now news is coming that Chirag Paswan has put a difficult condition in front of BJP.

The Times of India report states that Chirag Paswan has demanded all the 6 Lok Sabha seats for his party Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), which the undivided LJP won in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Along with this, Chirag Paswan has also asked for the Rajya Sabha seat held by the late Ram Vilas Paswan, the leader of the LJP. Quoting sources in the report, it has been said that before Chirag Paswan left for Delhi, a meeting was held with senior party leaders in Patna on Sunday (July 16), in which this decision was taken.

Why Chirag is important for BJP?

Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda has sent a letter to Chirag Paswan to attend the NDA meeting. In this, Nadda has described the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) as an important ally of the NDA and urged Chirag Paswan to attend the meeting. Interestingly, Chirag Paswan is not a part of the NDA at this time.

After the death of Ram Vilas Paswan, the Lok Janshakti Party broke up. Uncle Pashupati Paras captured a faction, which was named Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party. Paras is currently a part of the NDA and is also a minister. Despite this, BJP leader and Union Minister Nityanand Rai and Chirag Paswan met twice last week, which shows that BJP is once again giving importance to the old partner.

Mathematics of Bihar makes Chirag special

of 2019 Lok Sabha Elections BJP, JDU and undivided LJP were together. At that time NDA had captured 39 out of 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar. The opposition UPA got only one seat. But this time the equations have changed. Nitish Kumar has changed sides with the UPA, while Chirag Paswan’s party has split into two factions. In such a situation, BJP is looking for a partner in Bihar. BJP also wants that everything should be fine between Chirag Paswan and his uncle and both should come together. For the time being, it has to be seen how much the BJP fulfills the condition of Chirag Paswan and whether Chirag Paswan will come to the meeting or not.
