Delhi News: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has stepped up its efforts to control the worsening situation after the floods. Delhi MCD has issued a helpline number on its official social media account for immediate redressal of people’s problems. MCD has appealed to the people that through the helpline (MCD Helpline Number), the people of Delhi can inform the MCD employees about the removal of filth and water logging around them. In the statement issued by the MCD, it has also been said that if rain, flood water or silt has accumulated in any area of the capital, then the employees of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi will reach the spot and solve the problem.
Delhi MCD is taking the help of 16 jetting cum section machines and one super sucker machine to remove water from the ring road located in front of WHO building. This machine will work to remove the water installed here. The news of the drowning of the mausoleum at Rajghat in Delhi surprised the people, after which portable pumps have been installed by the Delhi MCD to remove water from this area as well and to remove waterlogging in other places of the capital. For this, the help of pump is being taken. Special instructions have been given to the MCD employees to remove the garbage and filth collected in different areas of the capital. The work to speed up the work of lifting the silt present in the drains of different areas of Delhi is also going on.
