Why does Yuzvendra Chahal stop speaking in front of Dhoni? the secret is revealed

Yuzvendra Chahal On MS Dhoni: Indian team’s star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is often seen joking around with other players on the field. But, his speaking stops in front of former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. While disclosing this, Chahal himself said that he remains very calm in front of Mahi Bhai and only talks about important things.

Chahal recently said in an interview to ‘Ranveer Allahbadia’, “He is the only human being, I stop speaking as soon as I come in front of him. I don’t speak much, no matter what mood I am in. I just sit quietly and if Mahi bhai asks anything, I answer. Otherwise, I remain calm.”

Chahal further told that even after spending 64 runs in four overs, Dhoni showed confidence in him and did not let him feel uncomfortable. Chahal said, “We were playing a T20 match against South Africa in Centurion. For the first time, I was bowled out for 64 runs in four overs. Heinrich Klaasen was hitting me, so he told me to bowl round the wicket. I said ok, but then Klaasen hit me for a six.

Chahal further said, “I was going back when Mahi bhai came and he told me that ‘Aaj tera din nahi hai, koi baat nahin’. But he told me that I have to try not to hit any boundary in the remaining five balls, which will help the team. From that experience, I realized that even if you are having a bad day, you can still support the team.”
