Chana Dal Price: After the rising prices of onion and tomato, now the government is in action mode to control the price. The Union Food Ministry has decided to sell Chana Dal at a subsidized price in the country. The government has decided to sell Chana Dal at a lower price in the market under the name ‘Bharat Dal’. In this, the government will save gram at the rate of Rs.60 per kg. Whereas the package of 30 kg will be sold at the rate of Rs 55 per kg. It is worth noting that Chana Dal is being sold by NAFED at a low price in Delhi-NCR. Apart from this, Bharat Dal will also be sold in successful centers of NCCF, Kendriya Bhandar and Mother Dairy.
Cheap pulses will be sold at these stores across the country
Giving information on this matter, Union Minister of Consumer Food and Public Distribution Piyush Goyal has said that cheap gram donation will be sold in the country under the brand of Bharat Dal. In this, the government will provide cheap gram dal to the common people. This pulse will be sold at 703 NAFED stores across the country. The government is engaged in the exercise of converting the gram stock lying with it into gram dal and providing it to the customers.
Gram is consumed on a large scale
Chana dal is the most produced pulse in India. People consume chana dal from morning breakfast to dinner. Apart from this, gram flour is made through this pulse, which is used to make snacks, snacks and sweets. In such a situation, it is consumed on a large scale in all the states from north to south.
Significantly, before Chana Dal, the government has decided to sell tomatoes at cheaper rates in view of the rising prices of tomatoes. Cheap tomatoes are being sold in Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan. At the same time, NAFED is also selling tomatoes at subsidized rates in many states including Bihar, West Bengal.
