Udaipur’s 80% physically challenged made world record by crossing Khardungla pass

Khardungla Pass of Ladakh: There are many disabled across the country, some of whom lose their lives due to their disability, but there are many who do something that makes them famous in the world. A similar example has happened in Udaipur. A Divyang from Udaipur who is 80% disabled has crossed the dangerous Khardungla pass of Leh-Ladakh. As soon as he crossed it, he made a world record in his name. Not only this, the Governor of Ladakh has handed over a certificate honoring him. The disabled person we are talking about is Dr. Arvind Singh of Udaipur, who knows the challenges he faced.

Dr. Arvind Singh told that Khardungla is a very dangerous trek. There is a hill on one side and a deep gorge on the other side. Not only here, there are many problems due to rain in the Himalayas. Land sliding incidents are happening. I completed this pass on a squad bike. Had to drive very carefully in such situations. Because due to the lack of oxygen, care had to be taken that the balance should not get disturbed. Nevertheless, this 42 kilometer track from Leh to Khardungla has been completed.

tweeted congratulations
With this daring and challenging attempt, he registered his name in the World Book of Records, London, as the first and only 80% physically challenged person to do so. On undertaking this challenging task involving the world’s highest motorable summit, the Governor of Ladakh, Dr. B.D. Mishra presented the world record certificate to Dr. Singh for this historic achievement and congratulated him by tweeting.

There are other records in their names
This is not the first time that Dr. Singh has proved his superiority at the world level. Last year Dr. Singh had created a unique world record of academic excellence. He has the distinction of having obtained 123 degrees, diplomas and certificates. Also known as the only doctor to have topped the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), one of the most prestigious management institutes in India. Along with this, he has also won the gold medal of the state in pistol shooting in para category.
