About the project Adani says that right now the people of Dharavi are deprived of basic things like gas, water, electricity, sanitation, drainage, health care, recreational facilities and open space. He expressed confidence of providing world class hospital and school to the people of Dharavi. He said that the redevelopment project will focus not only on rehabilitation but also on livelihood, for which entrepreneurship will be encouraged. Various models of entrepreneurship including a skill development based training center will be implemented in New Dharavi.
