Lok Sabha Election 2024 Game Plan: Less than a year is left for the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, in such a situation where all the opposition parties have united and formed a coalition of 26 parties, on the other hand, the ruling BJP-led NDA alliance has also prepared for the upcoming general elections. Took a pledge on July 18 to form the government for the third consecutive time in the elections.

All political parties have geared up for the general elections to be held next year. BJP has prepared its game plan for the Lok Sabha elections. Let’s know how will be the game plan of Lok Sabha elections 2024.

First in the electoral state game plan
Not only Maharashtra is part of BJP’s game plan, but it also includes Bihar, Rajasthan and initially all those states where assembly elections are to be held before the Lok Sabha elections. BJP is planning to challenge the ruling party in Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand along with saving its decade-old tradition in UP and Haryana. At the same time, Congress has also won power in two states Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh in recent times, where it is ready to give a tough fight to BJP.

The question of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh and 48 seats in Maharashtra
The ruling BJP of Uttar Pradesh has been successful in winning the hearts of the people here twice. However, this time the alliance of the state’s regional party SP, Congress can trouble them. Also, if the initiative of opposition unity lasts till the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, then it can spoil the electoral equation of BJP. According to the report of India Today, after the political upheaval in Maharashtra, the MVA alliance of Congress with Uddhav Thackeray and NCP-led faction is expected to get sympathy votes from the state.

On the other hand, BJP would like to win those seats which it lost in 2019 in Uttar Pradesh. Taking regional parties along in state politics can be beneficial. The double engine government of the state will also expect the people regarding the work of Ram Mandir.

Along with this, in the game plan for Maharashtra, it could be BJP’s plan to go to the polls with strong leaders and ministers of the state and take advantage of the rebellion of Shiv Sena after the last assembly. Combining both the states, there are a total of 128 Lok Sabha seats from here, in which BJP currently has 85 seats, Congress 1, Shiv Sena United 18, NCP 4, BSP 10 and SP 5 seats.

War on 40 seats in Bihar and 42 seats in West Bengal
According to India Today, in states like Bihar and Bengal where there is a non-BJP government, the party may have to face many challenges along with its strategy. Janata Dal United, once an ally of BJP in Bihar politics, is now in alliance with Congress RJD. This is considered a big challenge for the BJP. On the other hand, the people’s mandate in the panchayat elections held in Bengal and TMC joining the opposition unity is also a big challenge for the BJP in West Bengal.

Talking about the BJP’s game plan, the party is thinking of doing a different experiment in Bihar in a way by bringing together the leaders of all the communities. The NDA alliance in Bihar has a plan to target the vote banks of all sections. On the other hand, to hurt the Mamta Banerjee government of West Bengal, BJP will speak openly on the issues of panchayat election violence. Along with this, a core can also target the vote bank regarding the implementation of CAA in the state. There are a total of 82 Lok Sabha seats in these two states.

These states will be closely monitored
BJP will be eyeing a total of 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab. Presently BJP has only 2 seats there. Although BJP has control over all the four Lok Sabha seats in Himachal Pradesh, but it had to lose power in the recently held assembly elections, after which it is considered a challenge for the party there too.

All 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana are also with the BJP. BJP has not won a single out of 39 Lok Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu, so this is the biggest challenge for the state party. BJP will try its best to establish its hold here. Odisha and Jharkhand have a total of 34 seats out of which BJP has 19 seats.
