The BJP MP said, “I am deeply saddened by the decision taken by the ad hoc committee. This decision will mix the wrestling of this country in the trough. Many people have worked hard to bring this game up. The players, their parents and the fans of the game have put in a lot of hard work.
He said, “Today there is only one sport (wrestling) in the country in which medal in Olympics is considered guaranteed. The decision to send these wrestlers without trials in tournaments like Asian Games is very unfortunate.
When asked why Vinesh, Bajrang and other wrestlers were exempted from trials for the 2018 Asian Games during his tenure as well and even during the trials for the 2022 Commonwealth Games, he admitted that it was a mistake. Was.
