There can be many reasons for migraine. Migraine starts increasing more in the rainy season. Like nausea, problem with bright light, problem with loud sound. In migraine, there is severe pain in the head. It is a common disease but millions of people in the world are affected by it. However, it is not that migraine only increases in the rainy season. It can happen to anyone anytime. But it increases more during the monsoon season. One of the main reasons why people get more migraines during the monsoon season is the change in weather patterns.

During this, the level of humidity increases and there is a decrease in the barometric pressure. Studies have shown that such changes can trigger migraines in individuals. Fluctuations in barometric pressure can significantly affect the levels of oxygen and blood flow to the brain. Due to which migraine can start. Various changes in weather are known to trigger migraines, and it is estimated that about 20 percent of migraines are caused by weather changes.

Along with this, the monsoon season also brings with it many other factors which work to increase migraine. Increasing the humidity in the air can promote the growth of mold and fungus, which are known migraine triggers. Apart from this, the spread of allergens like pollen and dust mites also increases during this time. Which can increase migraine symptoms in individuals sensitive to these allergens.
