Horrific road accident in Bhilwara, two killed and 10 devotees injured, know how the accident happened?


An uncontrollable dumper filled with gravel hit a Maruti Ekko van full of devotees late at night. Earlier, the dumper had also rammed a bike. In the accident, two people died tragically on the spot and 9 including a 4-year-old innocent in the van were injured. All the people in the van were returning to their homes after visiting Mandapiya Dham Sanwariya Seth of Chittor.

The accident happened near Bhadu village of Mandal police station area. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and took all the injured to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Bhilwara. Simultaneously, both the dead bodies were kept in the mortuary.

Mandal police station in-charge Mukesh Kumar Verma told that late night near Bhadu village, a dumper running on gravel hit a bike and then a Maruti Ikko van. In this accident, Kalu Gurjar, a resident of Jaitpur, and Kanchan Devi Suwalka, a resident of Bhadu, were killed in the van.

On the other hand, residents of Khedapia, Annu Gurjar (17), Shayari Gurjar (80), Udayalal Gurjar (30), Seema Gurjar (22), Ratan (4), Shivlal Mali (30), Pushpa Rathore (40) and Chandi Devi ( 50) got injured. All these people were returning to their village Bhadu after visiting Saawariya Seth. All the injured have been admitted to the Mahatma Gandhi Hospital at the district headquarters. After the accident, the driver ran away with the dumper and fled leaving it one kilometer away from the spot. The police have seized both the damaged vehicles.

It is being told that the driver of the dumper was running the dumper very fast on the road. He first hit the bike. After this he increased his speed even more. It is also coming to the fore that the dumper which collided was connected to illegal gravel mining work. At the time of the accident, the bike rider was standing on the road carrying the bike. Another dumper was also standing there.

Uproar outside the mortuary

After the death of Kalu Lal Gurjar, a resident of Jetpura due to a collision with a dumper involved in illegal mining work, hundreds of people gathered and were adamant on lifting the dead body from the mortuary only after giving financial assistance to the family of the deceased. President of Vande Mataram Seva Sansthan Uday Lal Bhadana demanded action on illegal gravel mining work.
