Ritu Maheshwari removed from Noida Authority, Kanpur Commissioner Lokesh M will be the new CEO


Noida Authority New CEO: Ritu Maheshwari has been relieved from the post of CEO of Noida Authority. Kanpur Commissioner Lokesh M has been made the new CEO in his place. Ritu Maheshwari was settled in Ghaziabad and Noida for five years. Now Ritu Maheshwari has been sent as Divisional Commissioner to Agra. Let us inform that Lokesh M was made the commissioner of Kanpur only two months back. Lokesh, a resident of Karnataka, is an IAS officer of 2005 batch. Ritu Maheshwari is a famous woman officer of Uttar Pradesh. He took over as Noida Authority CEO on 12 July 2019.

Before coming to Noida, Maheshwari had given administrative services in many districts. In districts like Amroha, Ghazipur, Shahjahanpur, Ghaziabad, Ritu Maheshwari has held important positions. Her husband is also an IAS officer of UP cadre. In May last year, the Allahabad High Court had issued a non-bailable warrant against Noida Authority CEO Ritu Maheshwari.

The matter was of contempt of the High Court. The police had received an order to take Ritu Maheshwari in custody and be produced on May 13. However, the Supreme Court had put an interim stay on Ritu Maheshwari’s non-bailable warrant. The case was related to the acquisition of land for the construction of a bus terminal in Eda.
