Uproar over SP MLA’s statement on Vande Mataram, BJP asked – is this what INDIA means?

The BJP has now raised questions about the remarks made by a Samajwadi Party MLA in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly regarding ‘Vande Mataram’. BJP said that is this their concept of ‘India’? SP MLA had commented
Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi, after raising the Sambhajinagar district riot issue in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, had said that chanting ‘Vande Mataram’ is unacceptable to him. Regarding this, BJP’s national spokesperson Shahzad Poonawala said in a tweet, “SP’s Abu Azmi says that ‘I will not say Vande Mataram, I will not bow my head because my religion does not allow it.'”

India only in name, not in agenda – Poonawalla
Taking a dig at the new alliance of 26 opposition parties, the BJP spokesperson said, “Is this their concept of ‘India’? Or is it anti-India? SP is part of this so-called INDIA.” Poonawalla alleged that ‘India’ is the name of the alliance of opposition parties but is not on their agenda. He said, “Earlier the SP released terrorists and gave protection to Yakub Memon, Afzal Guru. Congress raised questions on surgical strike, Balakot and India was blamed for 26/11, not Pakistan. This is his real face.
