Aadi Mahotsav 2023: Many efforts are being made by the administration and tourism department to increase tourism in Udaipur. Many events have been organized here continuously to promote tourism, but last year the Udaipur administration organized such an event which is leaving a mark in the whole of Rajasthan. Actually, last year Aadi Mahotsav was organized in Udaipur. The whole of Rajasthan will now celebrate this event held in Udaipur.
Similar program happened in Udaipur. A similar program will now be organized in every district. Because this Aadi Mahotsav has been included in the annual calendar of the tourism department. The government has also issued orders for this. Last year, the then District Collector Tarachand Meena thought of a festival to promote tourism in rural areas, to give a big platform to the culture and art there. After this it was said to do Adi Mahotsav.
Aadi Mahotsav was held for two days in Udaipur.
First of all planning was made to get it done in the farthest Kotra tehsil of Udaipur. After this, this Aadi Mahotsav was organized in Kotra between 27-29 September. In this Aadi Mahotsav, local tribal artists of Kotra and folk artists of seven states gave presentations. Along with this, various sports activities, tribal food, stalls of jewelery tools and adventure activities were also conducted in this Aadi Mahotsav.

Shikha Saxena, deputy director of the tourism department, said that the tribal area of Udaipur had gained a lot of recognition from this Aadi Mahotsav. A large number of people had reached this Aadi Mahotsav. Then no one wanted to come here considering Kotra as a backward area, but when people came here, they were convinced of its beauty. He told that under the guidance of the then collector Tarachand Meena, the tourism department Udaipur had sent this proposal to Jaipur, which has now been approved.
Rajasthan will celebrate the festival on this date
He told that it was written in the resolution that on November 15, the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Birsa Munda is celebrated as Tribal Pride Day. Aadi Mahotsav should also be celebrated on this day. The government has stamped on this. He told that now this Aadi Mahotsav will be held in tribal dominated areas on Birsa Munda Jayanti. The tourism department will provide two lakh rupees every year for this, the remaining amount will be arranged under the supervision of District Collector Udaipur.
