Career in Artificial Intelligence: The government is preparing to raise an army of AI experts for the future. On July 15, on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launched the program AI 2.0. The special thing about this program is that for this there is no need to run to any big city. There is no need to be proficient in English, the government will provide this training in many regional languages.
Before the information revolution in the country when computer and internet came, no one would have thought that something like social media would take any information to every corner of the world in the blink of an eye. Experts are showing the possibility of a similar revolution regarding artificial intelligence. Realizing the importance of this field, the Government of India has also decided to train the youth in the field of Artificial Intelligence. To connect rural youth, training will be given in nine different Indian languages. The online training program based on AI will be completely free of cost. The program is recognized by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVT) and IIT Madras. The special feature of the program is that the training will be available in regional languages, which will make it easier to train rural youth.
Technology should not be limited to any one language
Its objective is to educate rural youth in cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence. The Union Education Minister stressed on the need to conduct technology courses in regional languages. He said that technology should not be limited to any particular language. He described this program as a step towards eliminating the language barrier in technology education and improving the future of the country’s youth, especially the youth of rural areas.
