Manohar Lal Khattar helps Himachal: It is said that whenever there is a calamity, the neighbor comes first. Now the neighboring state of Himachal Pradesh Haryana has also extended a helping hand. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced financial assistance of five crore rupees to Himachal Pradesh, which is recovering from heavy destruction during the disaster. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will donate this amount to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. This will help the affected people in Himachal Pradesh.

CM Khattar tweeted information

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar gave this information on Twitter. While tweeting, he wrote – Disaster does not come by telling. In this hour of grief, we will certainly do whatever we can to help. We are also affected by the flood and Himachal too. In view of the loss of life and property in Himachal Pradesh, on behalf of Haryana, I give an amount of five crore rupees as assistance to the Himachal CM Relief Fund.

Former CM Jairam Thakur expressed gratitude

Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur thanked Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for his help. Expressing gratitude on Twitter, Jairam Thakur wrote- ‘Manohar Lal ji, hearty gratitude to you on behalf of all the people of the state. Your service is exemplary. You have played the role of a neighbor brilliantly, every person of Devbhoomi Himachal will always remember this.

Himachal has suffered external damage

Himachal Pradesh has suffered heavy losses due to the rains in the past. The state government has so far received the details of the loss of Rs 4,000 crore. According to Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, the figure of loss of Himachal Pradesh can cross eight thousand crore rupees. Meanwhile, the central team has also reached Himachal Pradesh to take stock of the damage. Himachal Pradesh is also waiting for the possible interim amount to be received from the Centre. Himachal Pradesh already has a debt of 75 thousand crore rupees. In such a situation, the economy of the state is seen derailing due to the damage caused by the disaster. The hill state of Himachal Pradesh, moving forward on central funding, has a lot of hope and need for help from the center.
