Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Blast: Pakistani police informed on Thursday (July 20) that a suicide attack took place in Bara Bazar area of Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the report of Pakistani news channel Geo, a policeman was martyred and eight others were injured due to the explosion in this attack.
This attack on the police of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa happened when the police were checking the people entering the tehsil premises. The Police Tehsil complex houses the Bara Police Station, government offices and a cell of the Anti-Terrorism Department.

After the attack, the police said that the injured are being admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital Dogra Khyber Agency. At present, what was the reason behind the explosion, it has not been known. Police initially informed that they had seen smoke rising from the blast site. Apart from this, there was heavy firing after the blast. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police came under another attack last night when two policemen were killed and two others were injured in a firing incident in Peshawar’s Regi area.
Firing at Reggie Model Town police station
Police said that yesterday i.e. on July 19, unidentified armed men opened fire on the police at the check post near Regi Model Town police station and fled. The injured policemen were shifted to Khyber Teaching Hospital for treatment. The martyred soldiers were identified as head constable Wajid and driver Farman in yesterday’s attack. These days in Pakistan, the attacking policemen and security forces are being targeted. To deal with this, Pakistani security forces are also running a search operation.
