Yashasvi Jaiswal on Virat Kohli: The second Test between India and West Indies is being played in Trinidad. Through this match, Virat Kohli is playing his 500th international match. Meanwhile, young Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has reacted to batting with Virat Kohli. Jaiswal said that I am blessed to play with him. During this, Jaiswal called Kohli a legend.
In a video shared by the ICC, Jaiswal while talking about Virat Kohli said, “He is a leader. I am blessed to play with him and it is great. Getting out there with him and obviously watching him, it’s great to learn from him.”
Jaiswal further said, “I think there are many things to learn from him and whenever I see him outside cricket and inside the game, it is important to keep watching what he does. Keep learning from him while batting in the practice sessions. It is a pleasure talking to him, listening to him and of course playing with him.”
Jaiswal started with a half-century in the second Test
In the second Test being played between India and West Indies, opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 57 runs with the help of 9 fours and 1 six while batting in the first innings for India. Earlier, in the debut test played in Dominica, Jaiswal played a brilliant inning of 171 runs.
Virat Kohli nears century
By the end of the first day of the second test, Virat Kohli has reached very close to the century. By the end of the day, he has scored 87 runs with the help of 8 fours. On the first day, the Indian team has put 288 runs on the board for 4 wickets. Ravindra Jadeja is present at the crease with Kohli scoring 36 runs.
