What is the whole matter?
On Thursday, July 19, 2023, a video related to the Manipur incident was going viral on social media. In this video, a woman from the Kuki community is seen being stripped naked by some people from the Meitei community and paraded on the road. During this, some people in the ongoing crowd are seen holding and touching the private parts of that woman without any fear.

After the video of this incident went viral, everyone in the country was filled with anger and started demanding the resignation of the state CM N Biren Singh on this subject. At the same time, the opposition also raised questions on the silence of PM Modi on Manipur violence. What did PM Modi say?
PM Modi said that today when I am standing near the temple of democracy, my mind is filled with anger and pain. This is a shameful incident for any civilized society. There are so many sinners, those who commit crimes, who are they, they are in their place, but the whole country is being insulted.

140 crore countrymen are feeling ashamed. There is an appeal to all the Chief Ministers to strengthen law and order in their states. Whether the incident is of Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh or Manipur, law and order should be maintained. Women should be respected. No culprit will be spared. What has happened to these daughters of Manipur cannot be forgiven.
