UP News: After joining the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), National President of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (Subhaspa) Om Prakash Rajbhar met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said that Yogi ji has taken Uttar Pradesh on the path of progress. That’s definitely phenomenal. Rajbhar tweeted on Friday, “After joining the NDA, the respected Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Yogi Adityanath Had a courtesy meeting with ji at his residence in Lucknow on Thursday.

He said, “During the discussion, it was agreed to send a proposal to the Government of India for Scheduled Tribe status (following the instructions of the Allahabad High Court) to the Bhar/Rajbhar caste. Walking on the path of public welfare, the heights of progress that Yogi ji has given to Uttar Pradesh is definitely unprecedented.

At the time of meeting Yogi, both Rajbhar’s sons Arvind Rajbhar and Arun Rajbhar were also present. The Subhaspa, led by Rajbhar, who was a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government and belongs to the Other Backward Classes (OBC), joined the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Sunday. This announcement was made after Rajbhar met senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the capital Delhi. Shah had said in a tweet, “Met Om Prakash Rajbhar in Delhi. He has decided to join the National Democratic Alliance led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I welcome him to the NDA family.

The Subhaspa chief also attended the NDA meeting in Delhi on 18 July. Rajbhar had fought the last assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh in alliance with the Samajwadi Party (SP), but after not getting the expected success, he parted ways with the SP. He was the NDA candidate in the presidential election last year. Draupadi Murmu was supported. Rajbhar’s party fought the 2017 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections in alliance with the BJP. Rajbhar was made a cabinet minister when the government was formed, but later broke ties with the coalition. Then he made serious allegations against the BJP leadership and the government.
