According to the IMD report, there may be heavy rains in Odisha till July 24. According to him, there is a high possibility of rain due to the formation of low pressure area in some areas of the state from the Bay of Bengal. According to reports, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam and Gajapati districts have been warned to take precautionary measures in view of the danger of possible landslides.

Talking about the coastal states of Gujarat, due to heavy rains in the next five days, there is a possibility of heavy rains at different places. There is a warning of rain in Mumbai on Saturday as well. On the other hand, Orange alert has been issued for Gujarat as heavy to very heavy rain is expected here. Schools will remain closed till Saturday in Palghar and Thane of Maharashtra. Along with this, an order has been issued to close the school in Pune.
