Pakistan Hindu Minority: Recently, on July 14, a Hindu temple was demolished to make way for a shopping mall in Karachi, Pakistan. After this, tension arose among the Hindu community living there. This Hindu temple was located in the Soldier Bazaar of Karachi, whose name was Mandir-Mari Mata. After the demolition of this temple, the people of the Hindu community have started protesting against the government.
Pakistani YouTuber Shoaib Chaudhary arrived to take a reaction to the protests against the demolition of Hindu temples in Pakistan. There he talked to Hindu women about the demolition of the temple. A woman told YouTuber with anger on the demolition of the temple, we want our temple at any cost.
The family handed over the temple
The Pakistani Hindu woman said quoting the temple, we used to go to Mari Mata’s temple since childhood. Our family members had left it for us to take care of the temple. After the departure of our family members, we were not allowed to enter the temple premises nor were we allowed to worship. The idols of our temple were also stolen. The woman angrily said that we will not let our mother be sold, we want our temple.
Sold the temple for 7 crores
The demolished Mari Mata temple in Karachi, Pakistan was built 150 years ago. Local people say that old treasures are also buried in the courtyard of this temple. The temple is spread over an area of 400 to 500 yards.
It was discussed for some time that some people were eyeing to grab the land of the temple. Madrasi Hindus allege that two persons together have sold the temple for 7 crores. These include people named Emraan Hashmi and Rekha alias Nagin Bai.
