A few days ago, the culvert of the road from Sehore to Shyampur was washed away in the very first rain. Now, last night in Ichhawar of Sehore district, a culvert built on the 20 kilometer long road from Bhaukhodi to Amlah, built a month ago, was washed away. The villagers have blamed the construction agency as well as the engineers for the substandard construction work.
Let us inform that the demand for construction of road from village Bhaukhedi to Amlaha under Ichhawar assembly constituency was being made by the villagers for a long time. For the construction of this road, the villagers had also celebrated the birthday of potholes lying on the road by cutting cakes on the road itself. The protest done by the villagers in a unique way was the center of discussions in the entire state. After the protest of the villagers, finally the construction of this road started. The road was completed just a month ago, but last night the culvert on the road collapsed in the rain. This bridge was built between village Dhamanda to Durgpura.

Please inform that Karan Singh Verma is the BJP MLA from Ichhawar Assembly. Karan Singh Verma has been an MLA from Ichhawar Assembly for 7 times, while he has also been a member of the cabinet twice. Despite this, the villagers had to struggle a lot for the construction of 20 kilometer road. As soon as the road was built, now the culvert got washed away in the rain. Villagers Ramchander Verma, Banesingh Parmar and Rohit Verma said that negligence has been done in the construction of the road. The quality was also seen by the engineers during the construction of the road. What kind of quality was seen by the engineers when the road got washed away in the rain. The villagers have also raised questions on the functioning of the engineers.
Sometimes the cake was cut and sometimes the boat was floated

Similarly, former MLA Shailendra Patel also attracted the attention of the government by driving a boat in the pits of the road for the construction of the road. The road was constructed after a lot of protest, but carelessness was taken in the construction.
In the same assembly constituency, the culvert built on the road from Rupda to Rugnathpura was also washed away. Villagers told Parvata Rohi and Congress leader Megha Parmar, who reached to see the condition of dilapidated roads, that the road from Rupda to Rugnathpura was built only three months back.
