Dakaniya Talav Railway Station : Where a world class station is being built in Kota and the railway station of Kota is being built on the lines of the railway stations of the country and the world. At the same time, the work of second Dakaniya railway station of Kota is also going on in full swing. Whose work is expected to be completed in October 2024. Railway stations across the country are being redeveloped and made grand and world class. In this series, the Dakaniya Talav railway station of Rajasthan state is being developed by the Indian Railways under the redevelopment plan.
Rs 132.20 crore will be spent on redevelopment work
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Rohit Malviya said that the redevelopment work of Dakaniya Talav Railway Station will be completed at a cost of 132.20 crores. Under the redevelopment of Dakaniya Talav railway station, front side station building will be constructed in 4860 square meters and rear side station building in 2840 square meters of the station. A 36 meter wide concourse area connecting all the platforms will be constructed at the station.
These facilities will be there on completion of Daknia station
Facilities like ticket counter, VIP lounge, waiting room, food plaza and kiosk will be provided at the station. There will be separate arrangements for arrival and departure. At the same time, provision has been made for 09 lifts and 09 escalators for the convenience of the passengers. This entire station will be disabled friendly and parking facility will also be available. Keeping in view the passenger safety and security, CCTV cameras will also be installed. For environmental protection, the station will be developed as a green building and along with it arrangements for solar energy and water conservation will also be made.
At present, the work of survey and photography has been done in the redevelopment work of the station. Apart from this, foundation and excavation work has been done for front station and rear station building and parcel station building. Along with this, the work of relay and panel room has been completed up to plinth level and column casting work is going on. The redeveloped Dakaniya Talav station will provide world class facilities and will also lead to economic development of the area.
Progress of present Dakaniya Talav station
Under relay and panel room work, concrete casting up to lintel level has been completed. The work of the column above the lintel is in progress. Concrete casting up to lintel level has been completed under Electric Substation work. The work of the column above the lintel is in progress. In the front station building work, till now the work of foundation digging has been completed. Casting of PCC, fittings is in progress. Column construction and concreting work is in progress.
Excavation of foundation, PCC work has been completed while footing casting is in progress as well as column erection and concreting work is in progress. Talking about platform number 1A, the earthwork for the new platform is in progress here. Casting of precast coping wall in progress in precast coping wall. Excavation of foundation under parcel work completed. Whereas the work of PCC is in progress. While redeveloping Dakaniya Talav stations, work is being done keeping in mind the standard elements of station design.
