We started as part of the Central Government’s ‘Van Dhan Vikas Yojana’ and ‘Unnat Bharat Abhiyan’. We have given training to the sisters associated with self-help groups. This helped them to generate some sort of income and we are empowering them knowing that middlemen are getting most of the profit from the produce produced by them from about 29 percent forest area of Jharkhand. The aim of the research is to gain an understanding of entrepreneurship across India which we will replicate in Jharkhand.
