Karthik believes that India can win the Trinidad Test. He said, “This match is going only in two directions. Either Team India will win, which is more likely. Or else it will be a draw. Seeing the West Indies, it is feeling the same. India will have to get the next five wickets quickly to win.
Significantly, West Indies scored 229 runs in the first innings with the loss of 5 wickets till the end of the third day’s play. He is still 209 runs behind Team India. India scored 438 runs till all out in the first innings. By the end of the third day’s play for India, Ravindra Jadeja took 2 wickets for 37 runs in 25 overs. Mukesh Kumar took one wicket for 35 runs in 14 overs. Ashwin took one wicket for 61 runs in 33 overs. Siraj took one wicket for 48 runs in 20 overs.
