Unique demonstration of Congress workers against price rise in Mahoba, this demand on Manipur violence


Mahoba News: In Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh (Uttar Pradesh), the Congress staged a sit-in protest against the BJP government at the Center regarding price rise and Manipur violence. During this demonstration, Congress workers expressed their protest by wearing garlands of chillies, ginger and tomatoes around their necks. While protesting, Congress workers raised slogans of Modi Hatao, Save the country. The protesters demanded the imposition of President’s rule, holding the state government responsible for the violence in Manipur.

To be held in the coming year i.e. year 2024 Lok Sabha Elections As the election time is coming closer, the opposition parties are looking enthusiastic on many issues to woo the voters. Perhaps this is the reason why the Congress is now busy besieging the BJP government on many issues including inflation. In Mahoba, Congress workers gathered under the leadership of District President of Congress Party, Tulsidas Lodhi, shouted slogans while protesting at Alha Chowk in the city. During the protest, the Congress leaders held the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi responsible for the inflation and shouted slogans against them.

BJP government failed on the issue of inflation – Congress

The Congress worker sitting on the dharna expressed his protest against the inflation by hanging a garland of vegetables around his neck. Accusing the BJP government, the Congress leaders termed the state and central governments as failures on the inflation front. He said that inflation is skyrocketing in the country due to which the taste of the poor’s plate has deteriorated. In recent days, tomatoes are being sold in the market for two hundred rupees. Whereas, the prices of chilli and ginger are also skyrocketing, chilli and ginger are being sold in the market at Rs 250 per kg. Congress leaders said that inflation has broken the back of the common man and the government has failed to crack down on it.

President’s rule should be implemented in Manipur – Congress District President

In this demonstration, Congress workers and leaders protested, they raised slogans like Hi Hi Mahmagi Tu Kahan Se Aayee and Attack on Mahmagi. In the demonstration, leaders and activists fiercely targeted the Manipur violence, criticizing the BJP government at the Center. Congress District President Tulsidas Lodhi said that it has been two and a half months since the violence started in Manipur, but the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Not saying anything on this. He demanded the sacking of CM CM in Manipur and imposition of President’s Rule.
