6 accused arrested
This statement has come in the midst of a heated argument between BJP leaders and the opposition after a video of two women being paraded naked in Manipur went viral. There is nationwide outrage over this incident. Police has so far arrested six accused.
Video came after 77 days
Its video surfaced 77 days after the incident. Protests are taking place across the country after a video of two women being paraded naked surfaced. The opposition says that the state government in Manipur has completely failed. Swati Maliwal, Chairperson of Delhi Women’s Commission also reached Imphal today.
