Madhya Pradesh Elections 2023: On the 8th day of Vikas Yatra, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan (CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan) reached Chakaldi and Gopalpur villages of Budhni Assembly Constituency. The CM gifted crores of rupees to both the villages. A road show of CM Shivraj was also organized in Gopalpur. During this, Shivraj took on the Congress government of Kamal Nath. CM Shivraj said that the Kamal Nath government of 15 months did not even put a stone in my assembly Budni. Here, after Ashta, Nagda, in Chakaldi also, Karni Sena became a cause of trouble for the police. Even before showing black flags to the CM, the police had arrested the Karni Sena members and made them sit in the vehicle. During the program, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced to make Gopalpur a tehsil.

Chief Minister’s announcements

Addressing the program, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the happiness and sorrow of the public is my happiness and sorrow. I am working day and night for the welfare of the people of the state. He said that under the Vikas Parv, Mahayagya of development is being conducted in the entire state. He said that facilities are being expanded through roads, electricity, drinking water, water for irrigation and various schemes. Bhumi Pujan and inauguration of many construction and development works worth Rs 81 crore 44 lakh 4 thousand was done in Chakaldi. During this, he announced to open a college in Chakaldi.

Now farming has become a profitable business.
The Chief Minister said that earlier production used to be less due to lack of irrigation system. Farmers used to face many difficulties while doing farming, but now water is being made available to every farmer’s farm through several irrigation projects. He said that today Pattalai Udvahan Irrigation Scheme has been inaugurated in Chakaldi. With this irrigation scheme, water will be available to the farmers for irrigation till the villages of hilly areas like Pattalai, Amirganj and Palaspani. 889.07 hectares of agricultural land of 661 farmers of all three villages will be irrigated by Vahan Sinchai Yojana. The Chief Minister also said that earlier there were many problems for drinking water, but now Narmada water is being delivered to homes.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that due to irrigation water reaching the fields, farmers are now taking crops throughout the year. He said that agricultural production has increased and the economic condition of the farmers has improved. He said that the government is buying wheat, paddy as well as moong crop from the farmers. Under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, a total amount of Rs 12 thousand is being given to the farmers by the Central and State Government. He said that earlier loans were provided to farmers at 18 percent interest, but now farmers are being provided loans at zero percent interest.

Government for the welfare of sisters

The Chief Minister said that earlier due to lack of money, the sisters had to face many difficulties in meeting the needs of the children and the household. But with the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana, women are now able to fulfill all their needs. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that earlier when I was an MLA, you along with your colleagues used to get daughters married. Today, under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah, Nikah Yojana, marriages of many daughters of the state are being conducted with pomp. He said that along with the Ladli Laxmi Yojana, 30 percent reservation is being given to daughters in police recruitment as well. Under the Chief Minister’s Tirth Darshan Yojana, the elderly are being taken on pilgrimage by air.
