Mukesh Kumar told the feeling of debut wicket, bowler’s story made Siraj cry


Mukesh Kumar’s debut wicket Feeling: Fast bowler Mukesh Kumar made his international debut for Team India through the second Test being played between India and West Indies. Mukesh Kumar, who plays for Delhi Capitals in IPL and Bengal in First Class, took 2 wickets while bowling in the first innings of the Test against West Indies.

Mukesh took the first wicket in his international career through host West Indies’ Kirk McKenzie. Now Mukesh has described the feeling of this wicket. He told how captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli hugged him after his debut wicket. A video was shared by the BCCI, in which Mukesh Kumar was seen talking to fast bowler Mohammad Siraj.

In the beginning of the video, Mohammad Siraj is seen saying to Mukesh Kumar, “Your story is giving us goosebumps. To be honest, your story is very different. Congratulations for the debut and you also got the debut wicket. Further in the video, Mukesh Kumar said, “When I came to know that man I am playing, I immediately became fond of it, what is this thing.”

Mukesh further said about his debut wicket, “When the wicket was found, Virat Bhaiya and Rohit Bhaiya came and hugged. It seemed to me that the person whom I was watching on TV till yesterday, is hugging me, shaking hands. It was a strange feeling. Thinking of that thing…” Mohammad Siraj further said, “Can’t really describe this feeling.”

Please tell that Mukesh Kumar bowled 18 overs in the first innings for India, in which he took 2 wickets for 48 runs. Apart from Kirk McKenzie, Mukesh made Alik Athanaz walk. Kirk McKenzie was caught by Ishan Kishan, while Alyque Athanaz was lbw.
