Delhi News: The first merit list for admission in Delhi University colleges will be released on 2 August. The university administration says that successful students will have to report to their allotted colleges after the list is out. Students whose names appear in the list will have to report after reaching their respective colleges between August 3 and 5. Meanwhile, taking another important decision, Delhi University on Monday decided to extend the process of online registration for admission to undergraduate courses till July 26, 2023, at 4.59 pm.
It may be noted that undergraduate admissions in Delhi University are being done through the Common Seat Allocation System. The last date to apply for Phase I and Phase II under the Common Seat Allocation System was July 24. Now it has been increased to 26 July. That is, students seeking admission can register themselves by July 26.
Delhi University has received more than 3 lakh applications for more than 71 thousand seats in undergraduate courses. The number of applications will increase further as the application process for UG admissions is still going on. Students can join the process of admission by depositing the registration fee. University of Delhi offers 78 undergraduate and 198 BA programs to the students.
