Kota News: The development of Kota is going to get more wings. After Kota UIT, it will now be called Development Authority. After its budget announcement, it will now be implemented. In the budget 2022-23, the state government had announced to make Kota City Development Trust (UIT) a development authority. In this context, recently Urban Development and Self-Government Minister Shanti Dhariwal proposed in the assembly.
It was passed unanimously. Now soon the notification of Kota Development Authority (KDA) will be released. As soon as the notification is issued, the existence of KDA will start in Kota. Proposals were sought from villages to join KDA.
On March 16, after organizing a trust meeting, the trust has sent the proposals of the villages to be included in the formation of KDA to the state government. The Trust has included 289 revenue villages in the purview of KDA. After the formation of Kota Development Authority, 212 revenue villages of entire Ladpura tehsil have been included in the purview of KDA.
Kaithoon Municipality includes four villages
It also includes four villages of Kaithoon municipality. Along with this, 14 villages of Digod tehsil have been included in it. At the same time, 62 villages of Bundi district have been included. It also includes 47 villages of Taleda tehsil, eight villages of Keshavraipatan municipality area and seven rural villages of tehsil area. After the formation of KDA, its scope will be till Simlia on Baran road and before Digod on Digod-Sultanpur road.
Similarly, villages up to Taleda on Bundi road, up to Dhaneshwar village on Dabi road, next to Mandana on Jhalawar road up to the border of Kanwas tehsil, Rawatbhata on Rawatbhata road and villages up to Ramganjmandi tehsil have also been included in this.
KDA will get financial powers
At the same time, the revenue villages of Keshavraipatan have also been included. With the formation of the Development Authority in Kota, many financial powers will be vested in it for the development here, so that the people of Kota will not have to wait for the approval of the state government for the files of development works and other files. Also, you will not have to travel to Jaipur.
Let us tell you that at present tenders for development works worth more than 10 crores are sent to the state government for approval. After the formation of KDA, these files will be approved in Kota only.
With the formation of the Development Authority in Kota, many financial powers will be vested in it for the development here, so that the people of Kota will not have to wait for the approval of the state government for the files of development works and other files. Also, you will not have to travel to Jaipur. Various committees will be present
Not only this, there will be five types of committees. Due to the formation of these committees, files will not go to the state government for permission in small matters. These committees will be like this. Authority Executive Committee, Traffic Control Board, Land and Property Committee, Building Plan Committee and Project Work Committee.
