After which Sanjay Singh along with the MPs of India sat on a dharna in the Parliament premises and challenged the Central Government.

He said that there is a double engine government in Manipur, yet it has completely failed to stop the violence in the state.

He said that the PM should give a statement in Parliament. Sanjay Singh said that the whole country saw what happened to the daughters in Manipur, he said that the PM should tell what happened to his government’s Beti Bachao slogan.

At the same time, against the suspension of Sanjay Singh, the MPs of the newly formed ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (India) staged an overnight sit-in and raised slogans against the Modi government. This dharna of opposition leaders started on Monday and they told that this dharna can continue on Tuesday night as well.
